This was Christmas:
This last picture is why I used LITTLE trees placed high.
Both cats thought our Christmas tree was their cat tree. And one was eating the branch tips.
(Obviously, this smallest tree had to put up high, too.)
Christmas morning was lovely & fun. Santa had no problem snipping through the zip-ties on the fireplace curtains (since if Santa can come down the chimney, curious cats could go up,) and then re-securing them.
But, two weeks after Epiphany, it all looks tired and ready to sleep.
I'm only about halfway done; still need to stow the trees and the kids' ornaments. Taking down Christmas always makes me a bit sad. But it needs to be done.
Otherwise, how on Earth could I look forward to this coming Christmas! New shiny things!!!
